This class is about the power of touch that bodyworkers have and how it can change people’s lives. Learn ways to safely discuss this possibility with clients in a neutral, non-religious way. Learn also how the development and changes in your life can deepen your relationships with your clients. This class will transform the way you view and honor the lifework that you have chosen to make a change in this world.
Power of Presence: It is hard to communicate about this experience because the words are not adequate. But I believe now that what I experienced was a preview of the awakening that will eventually come to all humans. It is as if all the bad things we read about and sometimes experience are part of a collective fearful dream we are all having. Slowly we are having short awakenings as when someone unexpectedly smiles at us, or says something complimentary. In all of my classes I teach presencing because that is the practice that we will all awaken with… and it is free, simple in concept, and produces immediate change towards peacefulness and a lessening of fear. And I believe that our bodies will become instruments of awakening because we can link directly to the awakened state of presence by attending to the body’s signals. I know that some of you have had similar experiences to mine and I know that you are equally surprised by the individual healings that occur when you or your client becomes present.
When you are presencing in your work,
you are reaching a layer of Mind that is normally not available.
You are bypassing the “thinking mind.”

Awakening of Humanity: I believe that bodyworkers and other persons who learn to help clients to awaken into presence are becoming agents of change for the awakening of humanity. It is obvious that we cannot go further in the unawakened state of fear, war, and hatred without destroying ourselves and many of the other species on Earth. People are suffering and other people are so afraid of suffering that they follow a never ending path of accumulating more and more wealth, power, and technological control. This is not the real world… we are not automatons… we’re not killers of other species… we are not destroyers of the world. There is so much beauty and harmony designed into life if we can just awaken. So I’m telling you my real reasons for teaching presencing; not to have power over our pains or illnesses, those things happen naturally when we learn to presence. No, it is so that you may learn to presence yourselves and bring those forms of presencing and awakening to your clients and friends.
When persons develop a different relationship with their bodies it seems to follow that their lives become freer and more fulfilled. Many persons come to us to relieve their pain and suffering. I believe that when we work from a state of presence we offer them something they were not expecting; we offer them a preview of life to come which is not overshadowed by fear or judgment. We offer them an easier life, and the possibility of personal transformation. The tools we are learning are very powerful and perhaps can transform humanity. In Japan there is a long history of welcoming presence into daily activities. Many of those activities have changed because of the exigencies of modern life. I believe that by finding ways of incorporating presence into our work we can reclaim some of the deeper aspects of life and move all persons towards healing and awakening.
Blessings from Jack.
